At Rocky Mountain Prep, Assistant Principals of Operations…
Lead the operational execution and systems that make excellent teaching and learning possible every day. Assistant Principals of Operations design, manage, and continuously improve school-wide structures related to attendance, enrollment, facilities, safety, scheduling, and assessment logistics to ensure schools run smoothly and students maximize time in learning. They build and develop high-performing operations teams, establish clear processes for accountability and communication, and use operational data to identify challenges and drive solutions. As key members of the campus leadership team, APOs partner closely with instructional and student services leaders to remove barriers to learning, steward resources responsibly, and ensure strong implementation of campus priorities. Through proactive problem-solving, attention to detail, and deep ownership, they help create safe, joyful, and efficient school environments where staff can focus on instruction and students can thrive.
Success in this role is demonstrated through smooth, reliable school operations that maximize instructional time and support strong student engagement. Attendance, enrollment, scheduling, and assessment logistics are executed with consistency and precision, allowing teachers and leaders to focus fully on delivering excellent instruction. Facilities are safe, welcoming, and well-maintained, contributing to joyful and productive learning environments for students and staff. Operations team members show growth in effectiveness through clear expectations, coaching, and continuous improvement systems. Accurate and accessible data support timely decision-making and compliance, while responsible resource management ensures schools remain aligned with budget and strategic priorities. Families experience operational systems as clear, responsive, and supportive of their partnership with the school. Through proactive problem-solving and deep ownership for execution, you help remove barriers to learning and contribute meaningfully to the overall performance and culture of your school.

Salary
Starting salary for Assistant Principals new to the network is $100,000, with growth opportunities based on performance and experience.
