Role Mission

As Talent Experience Manager, you will deliver an exceptional and equitable candidate journey from first touchpoint through offer acceptance. You will play a critical role in shaping RMP’s reputation as an employer of choice, managing salary recommendations and offer letters, supporting hiring managers, and leading outreach efforts that grow a diverse and high-quality talent pipeline.

This role blends candidate experience, process excellence, and community engagement to ensure every prospective RMP team member feels seen, valued, and inspired to join our mission.

Key Responsibilities

Candidate Experience & Communication

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective candidates, providing clear and timely information about salary placement, benefits, and hiring timelines to support a positive pre-hire experience.
  • Communicate with clarity, warmth, and consistency to ensure every candidate feels welcomed and respected.
  • Track and analyze candidate experience trends; collect feedback and implement improvements.
  • Ensure all candidate communications and statuses are accurately logged in JazzHR (our ATS).

Offer Letters & Salary Recommendations

  • Draft and send offer letters in alignment with RMP’s compensation framework and approval process.
  • Provide salary placement recommendations that prioritize equity, experience, and internal consistency.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to address candidate concerns, hesitations, or negotiation conversations.
  • Track offer acceptance rates and document reasons for declines to inform strategic adjustments.
  • Step in to support onboarding processes when needed as needed, partnering closely with the HR department to ensure continuity and a smooth new hire experience

Community Outreach & Talent Funnel Growth

  • Establish and maintain relationships with universities, alumni networks, and community organizations to increase awareness of RMP as an employer.
  • Represent RMP at job fairs, career panels, and outreach events.
  • Lead outreach campaigns aligned to hiring needs, DEI priorities, and underrepresented talent segments.
  • Innovate strategies to increase top-of-funnel interest from local and mission-aligned candidates.
     

Hiring Manager Support & Collaboration

  • Partner with hiring managers to extend verbal offers and support timely offer execution.
  • Provide coaching and tools to hiring managers on salary placement, candidate communications, and timeline expectations.
  • Ensure seamless coordination between Talent, HR, and hiring teams throughout the hiring lifecycle.
  • Act as a culture carrier and model RMP’s values of equity, rigor, and joy.
     

Recruitment Evergreens

  • Respond to candidate emails and phone inquiries within 24–48 hours.
  • Track applicant touch points in JazzHR with accuracy and consistency.
  • Proactively support cross-functional collaboration to improve systems, processes, and experiences.
  • Foster a candidate-centered, data-informed recruitment culture across the Talent team.
  • Upholding equity and inclusion in every step of the process
     

Qualifications

 

Required

  • At least 3-5  years of relevant experience in recruitment, outreach, or school-based work, such as:
    • 3+ years of direct recruiting, outreach, or candidate coordination
    • OR 1+ year of recruiting experience and 2+ year in a school-based role (teaching, admin, operations)
       
  • A strong commitment to equity, anti-racism, and inclusive hiring
  • Exceptional communication, organization, and follow-through
  • Demonstrated success in engaging diverse communities and working across teams
     

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in education, nonprofits, or mission-driven organizations
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., JazzHR and Paylocity etc.)
  • Bilingual (Spanish or other languages) a plus
     

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $65,000–$85,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
