Registrar (25/26 School Year)
We are Rocky Mountain Prep, a movement comprised of incredible educators, families, scholars, and advocates who are changing the face of public education in Colorado by democratizing college access and preparation for historically marginalized students and families. On paper, we are a network of twelve college preparatory charter schools in the Denver metro area serving students as young as twelve weeks through twelfth grade.
But we are so much more than this.
During the 2024-2025 school year, RMP is driving after five big goals:
- 85% Staff Retention
- 100% of campuses going green & ECE-2nd grade students growing an average of 1.25 years in math and reading
- 100% of seniors accepted into college
- 40% of 3rd-8th grade students meet their Accelerated Reader millionaire goal
- RMP meets its network enrollment goal
Role Mission
The Registrar is critical in ensuring every student is on track for on-time graduation and post-secondary success, reinforcing RMP’s commitment to democratizing college access. As the central point of contact for student scheduling and academic progress tracking, the Registrar ensures students are accurately scheduled, grades are properly transcripted each semester, and credit recovery is efficiently managed. They collaborate with post-secondary partners to support concurrent enrollment opportunities and provide personalized guidance to students on their path to graduation. In RMP’s rigorous and loving environment, the Registrar maintains meticulous records, provides exceptional support to families, and thrives in a fast-paced school setting—championing equity, excellence, and student success.
Registrars at Rocky Mountain Prep Responsibilities:
Scheduling
- Design a Master Schedule in collaboration with the Principal and grade-level Assistant Principals, ensuring all students have access to rigorous coursework that meets graduation requirements.
- Develop student schedules that align with both graduation pathways and college readiness goals, ensuring equitable access to high-quality instruction.
- Manage the schedule request process and facilitate changes to support student success.
- Partner with the Managing Director of Teaching and Learning as well as our Managingg Director of Risk and Compliance to ensure accurate course coding and weighting in Infinite Campus, maintaining data integrity and academic accountability.
- Schedule students in alignment with RMP-reginated grade-level courses.
- Partner with the Exceptional Student Services team and Manager of Compliance to ensure students with IEP services are scheduled to receive service minutes and inclusion
Transcripts
- Ensure accurate transcription of student grades and credits at the end of each term, reinforcing on-time graduation and post-secondary readiness.
- Collaborate with the DPS Transcripts Office to resolve discrepancies, ensuring students have reliable records for college applications and scholarship opportunities.
- Support students and school leaders by generating and distributing transcripts, including uploads to web-based college readiness platforms to aid in post-secondary planning.
- Drive partnership with CCD or CCA to ensure PEAK+ students' concurrent enrollment courses are correctly reflected on high school transcripts
On Track to Graduate
- Monitor and track student progress toward meeting graduation requirements, ensuring all students stay on the path to success.
- Prepare documentation and pathway options to be used in family conversations.
- Maintain a clear box sheet for every student, that is updated at the end of each semester, that allows for clear OTG advising across all stakeholders
Additional Responsibilities
- Support key campus operations, including attendance, gradebooks, registration/enrollment, and course configurations, to ensure seamless school functionality.
- Maintain accurate and compliant student records, upholding state standards while protecting the confidentiality of student information.
- Engage in continuous professional learning and stay updated on DPS Registrar processes and systems through training and development opportunities.
- Champion a campus culture of college readiness and post-secondary success, aligning with RMP’s mission to democratize college access for all students.
- Attend all required campus events (parent-teacher conferences, recruitment nights, etc).
- Support your campus with student recruitment efforts like phone calls, canvassing, etc.
Education Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree is strongly Preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required) to ensure inclusive communication with students and families.
- Exceptional problem-solver and communicator, able to manage logistics, high-stakes relationships, and multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced school environment.
- Passionate about educational equity and student success, committed to democratizing college access and ensuring all students stay on track for graduation.
- Proficient in Google Suite and student information systems like Infinite Campus (strongly preferred), with advanced data management and spreadsheet skills.
- Knowledgeable in student registration, academic records, and graduation requirements, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and seamless student support.
- Experience with building and designing a High School master schedule

Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: Full-time position with a salary range of $60,000 to $72,000, based on experience and qualifications.
- Benefits: Includes health insurance (medical, dental, vision), disability insurance, life insurance, PERA retirement, and paid time off.
